Santa Fe: A Thriving Artisan Beer Scene

Thrillist.com shined the spotlight on Santa Fe’s artisan beer brewing culture in its November 2, 2014 article. This online magazine dedicated to food, drink and travel ranked Santa Fe No. 8 as small cities that deserve national attention for its finely crafted IPAs, stouts, and lagers. Santa Fe is home to eight respected breweries, which compliment the city’s enthusiasm for locally sourced foods. Outside Magazine sponsors the Bike & Brew Fest in mid-May to help celebrate the area’s artisan beer crafting talent.  Author Andry Kryza names Santa Fe’s Black IPA, Second Street’s Boneshaker Bitter, Duel’s Fantin double pale as Santa Fe’s essential beers.
